Flannery's travels in PNG where he encounters the fate of the indigenous people, discovers new species. Interestingly, it was also in PNG that Jared Diamond formulated his views that lead to "Guns, Germs and Steel", and for Flannery to produce "The Future Eaters". Anyone interested in ecology, climate change and zoology needs to read this.
