Still recommended reading in Systems Methodology & Modeling courses offered at Tertiary and Post-grad level. In this text the concepts of systems and control in a concise semi-rigorous form within the framework of classical control theory.

The work begins by introducing the "state" at an introductory level, which is then used for generalised discussions of Lyapunov stability, meromorphic functions. Each of the short chapters covers one or two concepts in depth.

Some minor spotting on the jacket and preliminaries.

There is an inscription on the FEP from "Bob" Robert Newcombe "With remembrance of my dear Australian friends", a keepsake of the author's time in Australia.
